What do you mean you had to adjust it? We've been having problems with water going hot and cold this winter. What is there to adjust besides the temperature?

Hi Southern - don't know how far south you are but don't forget to allow for change in incoming ground water temp during winter. We've had electric tankless for 2 years now and love it. First winter was mild and no adjustments required; this winter is much colder and we had to adjust but now everything works fine. Good luck.

We are doing our part to be green by putting low-flow aerators on all are faucets. This should cut down on water use, will it work on tankless hot water heaters?

  To Southern
We had the same problem, tankless heater is too small. Works great in the summer. Ours is mounted almost next to the bathroom, so we turn the temp down to about 110 F for showers. If there is temp fluxuation I adjust the water flow at the shower, rather than the hot/cold knob. It works great.

  Hi Southern
It sounds like you've got the winter blues. By that I mean your tankless water heater is probably too small for the job. Try adjusting down the water flow coming out of the heater. You can do this either at the faucet or at the cut off on the tankless line out.

Welcome Southern, this is my first time too. Hope to learn about tankless water heaters. How do you like yours, other than the temperature problem?

I'll sign in and say hello but I hope someone can give advice. The tankless electric water heater we installed back in the fall worked great but now the temperature goes hot and cold. Am I not doing something right?
